Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The logo will be printed on merchandise. So I'd like a good balance of detail, simplicity and boldness that captures the eye at distance such as on an expo banner but is also interesting close up as on T shirts, stickers etc. Please see my sketch attached. I am open to different ideas and text placement. The words python morphs to be remote from the word killer. Would like an option with map of Australia incorporated maybe as a background without being overbearing or in python pattern as on sketch. Please adhere to the distinctive wedge shape of a python's head on any art work.
