Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new company based in Fribourg, Switzerland called Centre Algos. Translated in English 'Algos Centre'.

Algos is a integrative medicine/naturopathic Pain Center/Clinic.

The mission of the naturopathic medical practice is to treat pain in all its forms, whether physical, psychological or emotional, acute or chronic. Pain is a symptom, a cry from the body to express an inner imbalance.
The aim of naturopathy and its tools is to first soothe the pain and then to find the cause of the cause in order to heal/rebalance the organic disorder that has been expressed.
Once homeostasis has been restored, the naturopath's work will focus on health education, the return of the patient's autonomy, the prevention of recurrences by setting up an individualised hygiene of individualised lifestyle.

The Name Algos:
In Greek, Algos means 'pain', representing the personification of sorrows and worries. In Greek mythology Hesiod describes Algos as the goddess of Sorrow and Pain. Daughter of Eris, goddess of Discord, as opposed to Hedoné, goddess of pleasure and delight.

This simple name makes sense in a practice focused on the physical, psychological and emotional pain of the person.

Target Patient Group:
Internationally, the integrative management of autoimmune diseases has become a thriving market as patients who no longer find sufficient support and relief from allopathic medicine turn to integrative approaches with new hope. Numerous testimonies in social networks, autobiographical books and reports such as on Netflix advocate healing and a return to health with holistic integrative approaches.
The target audience is a Swiss and international population. The languages spoken will be French, English, German and Dutch.
The segmentation is targeted at a population ranging from 16 years to very old age. No paediatric care.

As a niche market, the centre has taken the decision to create a place of a certain standing, even of luxury, with a very refined decoration using noble & natural materials. The targeted patient base is a well-to-do: one that prioritises a certain financial investment in its health, with certain costly therapies taking place twice a week.

Moreover, the evolution of the project of Algos, is in line with the opening of an establishment of retreat and cure of several days (7-10 days) of a luxury standing in all inclusive retreat. The goal is to make the centre known of this high standing.

Possible Future Activities:
It may also have a commercial activity of selling food and non-food products and medicines. It has an educational role for children and adults, publishing books, brochures, educational materials, films, coaching, master classes, conferences, cooking classes, etc.
