Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a new logo for an existing recording studio. I have been going for 10 years, but am looking for a rebrand. Something new and fresh to take me into the next 10 years. My current "logo" is just the name in Futura font essentially. Very boring.
The studio is a very warm environment with lots of natural wood and timber on the walls. We record independent bands and artists. Music is along the country, folk, rock, soul styles. Not much pop. No heavy metal.
Earthy feelings and analogue sounds and equipment, but I want it to have a professional look.
