Hi Megan, thanks for your prompt feedback. I've uploaded an entry #29419784 explaining the idea behind this abstract logo icon. Hope it make sense. By more 'earthy' you mean more greyish , black, and brown colours right? And 'nature based' means less abstract and more lifelike graphics, right? I just though it would be quite challenging to crank all those concepts into single logo. Anyways waiting for your feedback.

The earthy colours are browns, greens, etc. (see here for an example: [Non image link removed]I think what we mean by nature-based is again more earthy type things. Invasive species pose major risk to our environment so that's what we are trying to protect!

I see your description now and it definitely makes more sense to me. I love the approach and the meaning behind it.
