Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking at updating our logo- the original one was developed quickly when the company was formed and at the time lifecycle was focused on providing electrical power to the 'lifecycle of an oil well'. Today about 50% of revenue comes from oil and gas customers still but 50% is from providing power generation to utilities and data centers. The core (and currently only) product offered are big gas fired turbines. The colors and general shape of the logo are somewhat recognized by our customers now so maybe not looking for a completely different look but possibly a subtle change for the following reasons:

The logo is a little bit 'busy' when printing etc, possibly simplify the coloring to make it cheaper

Having a pump jack in there ties the company to oil and gas which isn't necessarily the future focus of the company nor particularly attractive to investors

It's clear that the original one was arrowed to show a continuous 'lifecycle' and quite possibly it was just a power point cycle diagram that was the inspiration- this sentiment of a 'lifecycle' is a good one because it shows that the company can offer services through the lifecycle of any project but maybe there could be some sort of 'tip of the hat' to a turbine so people understand that what's on offer is gas fired turbines- many company's that use turbines use some sort of representation of the turbine blades in the logo...maybe that could be employed somehow here? Some competitors in the space are: Capstone micro turbines, distributed power solutions, aggreko, caterpillar, Cummins power generation, PPG Energy, Solar Turbines, GE...
