Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

FootieCVS.com is a site which provides CVs for English football players and used by semi-pro and professional English football clubs to help research and recruit football players.

I'm looking for a design of three pages (listed here and more information below):
1. the homepage - containing basic information (this is not a one page site)
2. editorial page footballer - page to produce editorial articles, content, like blog articles
3. Most importantly CV page. - The CV page is the USP of the site

Broadly the theme for the site should be authority, reliability, informative, reliable, genuine, formal, clear and succinct.

The CVs on the site are the main content of the site and this is the key part of the design submission, the other pages are secondary. There are over 31,000 CV pages all based on one template. The pages provide a brief summary of the player and are centred on the players achievements rather than the players statistics. This is a clear distinction, we are not trying to compete with stats sites, the aim is to give an overall of the players achievements and not to provide a stats view. For a quick frame of reference, think a little like a LinkedIn for football players for a basic view but do not base the whole design on that premise, but that is the idea of the site.

Content to be included on the CVs page:
- Summary of the player – paragraph about the player – needs to be at the top
- Key achievements – this is the USP site of the site
- Space for at least one advert – size and position can vary
- Career History – timeline of the events of the achievements
- Club History – clubs which the player has played at
- Player stats – retain doughnut stats on the current site, with dropdown for season

There are also some sections to be added which aren’t on the current page
- Agent details – this is not on the current page, details of how to approach the agent to discuss more, includes agent name and contact details – website and email address
- PDF creation – a way to download the page without adverts and formatted for a CV. This is a monetising incentive so is a paid option
- Similar players – section showing similar players

Welcome creative ideas to add additional content if you see fit and if it compliments the design.

For the homepage, the key information on the page is the way in which you can search for a player. I also want to provide information about what the site is, and information about the latest updates and anything else which explains what the site is and also a space to show editorial content. Other information from around the site can be added if you think it will be pertinent.

Very important for the website design to be responsive, so I would like to see mobile views as well as laptop view.

Fonts - Very welcome a change of fonts and can use a combination of fonts. But please provide details of the font sizes uses and font faces. Only use fonts which are free or you can provide the font faces for them which can be used on a website without royalties.

As I will be coding this, appreciate supplying individual elements of the design where possible or appropriate. Particularly if a change of logo is suggested.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Must be authoritarian present information as trustworthy and reliable. Must be made responsive, so mobile first is key but also to work well on desktop

Schön zu haben

• Where possible all information should be the same as on mobile as the desktop. A new logo design if it doesnt go with the new site design.

Sollte nicht haben

• I am very familiar with standard bootstrap and responsive templates - this should be unique, I'm not looking for rehash of a bog standard template! Comic Sans are any fun and happy fonts! we are looking to be an information provider not a fun, jovial site.
