Maskottchen-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Our client, GSM Services is looking for a new penguin mascot for their brand refresh. GSM is an HVAC company that offers more than just Heating and Air services such as insulation, dryer vent cleaning, Guttering, etc. Their current mascot is a photo-realistic penguin (see attached image for reference). The client wants to move away from this look and move toward a more illustrative mascot. Here's a list of things we would like to see:
• softer, more cartoonish features. (no pointy beak)
• a more friendly appearance
• Taller (definitely not looking for short and cute)
• more Masculine features, we want friendly but not too cutesy.
• A red hat, polo shirt and khaki pants (I've attached an EPS with their color swatches.)
• A tool belt (Maybe as a separate layer that can be easily removed if needed)
• Holding a wrench (action pose)
We love the work one of the designers did for DreamWorks model products. One thing I would say is that we will be placing this design on various backgrounds so we would like to avoid the overhead perspective that was used on that project. Eye level is preferred. (See attached image for reference)
