International Journal of Role-Playing
Add your question or comments below
Hello everyone,
Please note that I have updated the brief with a specific file I would like to use for the logo adapted with the colors mentioned. I would love to see some designs with some elegant (but readable) sans serif text. Role-playing should be emphasized as the main word.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you you for your beautiful designs so far!
Sarah
Full updated brief here, please follow:
We need a logo for a journal we are rebranding. It used to be black and orange, but black, red, and grey are preferred. Please see the exact colors below.
Please adapt the attached vector (bought through Shutterstock) to the below color scheme, using reds, greys, and black.
In terms of shapes, I prefer curves, thin lines, and elegant fonts, possibly a sans serif with curvy lines but easy to read. (The current branding was not my initial choice). Ideally, it will be somewhat circular in shape in that I could use it as an official seal, rather than overly horizontal or vertical in orientation.
The red: CMYK: 0% Cyan, 91% Magenta, 72% Yellow, 23% Black
RGB: 153/0/0
Pantone 187
NCS (Paint): S 2070-R
Grey:
Reproduced in different percentages of black: 5–90%
If a grey border is used, it may only be reproduced in 10% black.
RGB:
Light grey: 230/230/230
Medium grey: 190/190/190
Darker grey: 130/130/130
Web: #CCCCCC
NCS (Paint): S 1005-R70B (equivalent to 10% black)
Looking forward to seeing your designs!
Hello designers,
Thank you for your new images! I think I am narrowing down what I want if you would like to try again. The same logo with *slightly* more of the red instead of the pink and *slightly* more of the grey instead of the taupe. The rest of the color scheme should stay the same -- this is more like shades rather than reimagining the design and the way the concentric circles interact.
Also, It would be great to see the font Marcelles Bold for the title of the journal.
I'm looking forward to the new versions!
Sarah
Sorry, that should say Marcelles CAPS, not Bold :)
Thank you everyone for your participation! It has been wonderful to see all of your creativity.
