Podcast-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Hi!
I am hoping to have a new podcast cover made for my show "Southern Gothic." The summary for the show is as follows: "Step into the world of the unknown and unravel the dark history, and infamous legends of the American South. Join us as we journey into the heart of this rich and fascinating region, uncovering its ghostly stories, haunted places, and eeriest tales."
I would like the cover to embody the vibe of this being a haunted history show with authority, not some type of cheese or horror movie. This is heavily researched by professionals and sits in the history space. In terms of aesthetic, I appreciate something that invokes the swamp but most commonly I tend to veer toward the old Victorian ghost story book cover look. The number one goal of this project though, is to make sure that folks want to click on my show and that requires: a) for it to look like it belongs on the history chart with other professionally done history shows and b) the font is highly readable when the cover is zoomed out on.
I have attached several things here today:
001: The current cover. This podcast has been successful with this, but clearly it is lacking a professional look.
002: Alternate Cover. This is the logo I have been using for my t-shirts and stuff. I do really like it, and would have probably used this for the show, but you can't read the show's name when zoomed out! Please don't feel like you need to mimic this in any way.
003: This is a style that I appreciate and am open to using as long as it doesn't seem to steal. I don't want people to think I am ripping these other podcasts off as they are my competition.
004: When I say that I want it readable this is what I mean. On some charts the show covers get as small as this!
Thank you so much for working on this project. I am a creative, so at heart I really want something artsy BUT the reason I am coming here is that more importantly I need something professional looking that will inspire new listeners to click on the logo. I hate to say it because it pains me, but the darn thing is more marketing than self-expression.
