Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Dear designers. We are looking for a visual logo to use for our new foundation 'Lux21'. As Lux21, we strive to initiate and support projects that help people from all walks of life and seek to actualize our (idealistic) vision of where the Netherlands should be in 21 years. Website: https://www.lux21.nl.

We already have a simple text logo which will be used for most occasions. We would however very much like to add something visual to also have an emotional and enticing visual trigger. Adding our existing logo (png in appendices) for comparison is great, but the focus should be the 'visual' logo.

Two elements are essential: a proud lion and rays of light coming from above or from behind the lion. The lion projecting pride and being the symbol of our nation. The rays of light symbolizing our ideals and 'Lux' is latin for light. The lion should proudly stare into the distance - so not roaring.

As for the colors. The design should work in all colors, so please take that into account. Please design in black on white background. Featuring our brand color gold (#DCB45C) is definitely a plus, but not necessary. We do not have a slogan yet, but you may play around with lorem ipsum text. The text logo should not be featured in this design itself - but is welcomed as means of seeing the combination.

The feeling of the design should be serene and powerful - like a calm and proud lion with beautiful lighting. An heraldic crest is a bit too much, but it can be some sort of badge/emblem type of feel. 'Look and feel slides' can also give a bit of direction.
