Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a logo design for a new company based in the Commonwealth of Dominica (NOT Dominican Republic) called "Built in Dominica." My partner and I are looking to transition from general contracting to custom builds. We will be producing various furniture, household goods, workshop goods, fishing accessories, vehicle accessories, boat accessories, cooking accessories, et cetera. Some will be metal, some wood, most a combination of both.
We would like to use browns and blacks mainly. This logo should be able to be etched, burned, stamped into wood...3D printed and attached to various other materials. Transparent opposite so that a stencil can be printed and used to spray the design onto metal or wood as well. Would like to have an alternate color scheme that could be used in marketing and merchandise. Would still prefer mainly blacks and browns, but maybe a splash of green, yellow, red or even purple (dictated by the colors on the Dominican flag). Neon colors are also not out of the question.
Our vision is to use the shape of the country with the business name inside. The letters could resemble metal welded together...or perhaps wood and metal. A welding torch finishing it off would be amazing but not necessary. Other tools used in metalworking and woodworking are also on the table. The main thing is that should be able to be burned/etched/stamped into wood...as well as printed as a stencil and sprayed onto metal or wood. Simple and strong.
The uploaded sketch is just the simplest way I could convey the basic idea. Please, take that and make it special.

Most designs did not follow the brief. I meant to grant more feedback but I fell ill and then had to catch up on work missed. I will provide feedback on those provided, but I want to reiterate the points that matter: My business is in Dominica--NOT the Dominican Republic. I asked to have "Built in Dominica" inside of the outline of the country...only a few attempted to do so--and none of the designs actually contained the name fully inside of the country shape. I asked for lettering to be industrial, preferably resembling metal...even wood or a combination of metal and wood. The end design needs to be able to be stamped/burned/etched into wood, be printed into a stencil that can be used to spray paint onto a surface. So, it would need to stand alone without color...but be able to have color added for marketing purposes. If you submit a design that is nothing like what has been described--please, only submit one and allow time for feedback. Thank you.
