Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The Rubber Association of Canada (a not-for-profit national trade association) is hosting its biennial Symposium in October. This annual conference is geared towards the rubber recycling market, primarily the recycling of scrap tires. Speakers discuss changes in the rubber recycling world, innovations, struggles, etc. At this point, we are looking to have Artwork created for this event. Typically, we have artwork/a "logo" of some nature that speaks to the theme of the conference for that year. The artwork/logo is coupled with the words "2014 Rubber Recycling Symposium". The theme of our rubber recycling conference this year is more or less "driving innovation" to "drive markets".

We are looking to have a graphic/logo created for this event. The graphic does not necessarily need to be very small like a typical logo, as we will use the logo for the front of the program, on letter heads, etc.. Some things/concepts we would like reflected in this graphic are:

-Graphic MUST speak to the idea of innovation/progress
-Must be very very professional in nature
-Must have a tire component
-Must speak to the notion of recycling
-We like the use of black but are open to incorporating different colours
-We discussed the idea of having a scrap tire dissolved into numbers, or crumb rubber, or even into a playground or track made from rubber asphalt
-The words "October 22-24" and "Montreal, Quebec"

I will attach the graphic we used last year to give you an idea (although this is not the greatest example because it was not designed by a professional graphic designer). This is also NOT just the logo (I think this was an AD we did). But-- it will give you an idea. Although, we would like something that looks much more professional, and sleek.
