Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a new marque race event coming in 2024 called 'Reno-Tahoe International Marathon'. I'm looking for a "solid/heavy" design focused on the name itself understanding that it will be silk screened and embroidered on apparel and will also be overlayed on aerial photos (think skyline view of downtown Reno with the Eastern Sierra Nevadas - Mt. Rose and Slide Mountain in the background) for marketing assets (website, print material, etc). Sample Reno skyline image provided.

I would like the flexibility to change out event theme colors (for apparel/gear) annually, so having a neutral/simple color scheme for the logo would be important (meaning not having too many colors involved).

Also I would like contrast versions of the logo. Example, the standard logo may be navy blue font but for silk screening/embroidery work the logo font would be white while the garment would be navy itself. Make sense?
