Book audience will be government officials and higher educated demographics. Author does not want it to look childish - I've change the parameters on the brief to reach more serious/political audience. Also do not use the logo on the cover.
Feedback from authors - words should be illustrative, in a format that is more of a shadow of the outline of the people, not too boldly standing out on their own. Also primary imagery could be the White House, Congress, Capital hill, etc.. and a Mosque - presenting more of a democratic co-existence question between Shariah law and the American Democractic collaboration.
Some feedback from the author for anyone on here able to send revisions please:
The structure of the design I suggest is as follows:
1. A man made with the following words:
Jewish Rejection Prejudice Anti-Semitism Radicalism Segregation Intimidation Occupation
2. Another man, in a different color, with the following words:
Muslim Threat Violence Racism Islamophobia Fear-Mongering Extremism Terrorism Hate Authoritarianism
3. A structure of democracy, say, the Capitol building, made of these words:
Man Made Law, Politics, President, Freedom, Democracy, Constitution,
Conservatism, Ultra Liberalism,
4. A structure symbolic of Islam, like a Mosque, build of the following words:
Divine Law, Religion, Caliph, Force, Caliphate, Shariah Law, Ultra Conservatism, Liberalism
5. Another scene, maybe a crowd in commotion, with the following words:
Demonize, Discriminate, Discredit, Delegitimize, Destabilize, Divide
- or context image to be a debate or protest.
- opposing signs, slogan, etc...
6. "I Am The Other" should pop out and be the center of attention.
