Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new company called "Skyward Strategies." It is a high end consulting firm mostly for aerospace and defense companies. It consults for both large/traditional companies (Lockheed Martin, Boeing...), and new companies/startups, primarily to develop strategy and grow their business. The slogan I was planning to use was "Rise above." We're trying to create a company that embodies: smart, hard working, experienced, honest, ethical, insightful, and well educated. I tend to like blue, silver, gold, black, gray and white.
Ideally the logo/emblem(s) would be somewhat generic so that it would apply to a broad range of business (e.g. it would not include a specific rocket or airplane, etc.).

Note on this project--one update I would like to add is that the ultimate winning logo will most likely also indicate God or point to God in some way (e.g. upward arrows, swooshes, upward starburst--some element or characteristic that not only points to the "sky," but that may also indicate or point to God). I am a Christian, and I would like the logo to remind me that I am working for and dependent on God for my business and insight.

That said, this is a business logo and not a ministry logo. It should probably NOT have crosses in it or look like a church, for example. Something very subtle would be best. Many of the excellent submitted logos already accomplish this objective.
