Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for letterhead and signage for a new RV & Boat Storage Facility. In Grass Valley, CA. Grass Valley is in the heart of the historic Gold County. This area in California was where gold was first discovered in California. There are several old mines in the area. We named our facility 'Stamp Mill Storage' due to this rich history and the discovery on the property of several items related to the rich history of the area. A stamp mill is a stamping machine used to crush the ore (rocks mined from the earth) to reveal the gold. See links below for examples of a stamp mill. We discovered on the property a large wheel which was part of a old stamp mill. This wheel is 8' in diameter and we intend to incorporate it into our monument sign. (photo of wheel attached). Also on the property are remnants of an old narrow gauge rail road turning station and tracks. The ore was removed from the mines and transported in ore carts to a narrow gauge rail road and the ore was taken to the stamp mill location via rail road (few miles or less) . The stamping actually took place on the property. The is also still on the property remnants of the turn around wheel for the rail road. (example photo below) We are wishing to incorporate this rich history into the project. Thus, the name Stamp Mill Storage. Logo should include references to this gold history. An ore cart, or stamp mill, or stamp mill pulley should be incorporated in the logo. Logo should also be simple too. Stamp Mill Storage, Grass Valley, CA
