Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a startup that is building a social product for sports betting. Users will consume the product almost exclusively through a mobile app and we need a logo for the company and the app.

The app will be called Samuri, which was chosen because good bettors are known as "sharp" and the term Samurai reflects sharpness (sword).

We are thinking that the logo should convey this "sharp" message by using sleek and crisp design. We envision the logo being an "S" in block-letters, with a sword running through it diagonally, but we open to variations on this general theme. We have no color/palette preference other than we feel black and white might be best.

Alternatively, rather than the logo as an "S" with a sword, it could also be a cartoonish/clipart style simple samurai helmet (without a face) as seen in the sample files.
