Design Brief for Character Illustrations: Tortoise and Hare

Overview:
We're a paediatric occupational therapy business undergoing a rebranding process. Our new brand identity revolves around the Tortoise and Hare, which represents the diverse paces and journeys children embark on throughout their developmental phases.

Objective:
Develop fun, happy and original characters (Tortoise and Hare) that we can use throughout our material. These characters will be used in illustrations to clearly demonstrate child activities.

Specifications...
Characters: Tortoise and Hare.
Number of Illustrations: 3 different example activities.
Submission: Consolidate the illustrations onto one page for submission.
Interaction: Both characters need to work on their own and together.
Emotion: Each illustration should capture a distinct emotion — from the Tortoise's focus when balancing to the Hare's happiness during play.
Style: Strive for a whimsical yet contemporary style that is child-friendly, captivating, and exudes confidence.
Colours: We're flexible and open to your creative colour choices.
Illustration Details: Aim for neat lines and clarity in depicting each activity.
