Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for our new publishing company, Inner Expedition Press. Our books are fictional and and are meant to inspire. They're about people being adventurous and brave. They inspire readers to look within themselves and recognize and build on their own strengths. We would like to see designs that reflect that spirit.

We envision it being elegant and perhaps a bit "magical." (A bit of the sense you get from Lord of the Rings.) It could possibly incorporate a majestic tree / tree of life and/or a light or lantern - to represent a person's inner light as well as a light that can guide someone on a quest.

The image part of the logo will need to be able to stand on its own and be relatively simple because it'll appear on book spines and will sometimes be small. We'd like it to also show the company name for other purposes (such as inside the books, on stationery, etc.).

We picture the colours being simple, possibly two-tone.
