Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I would like a logo design to use for my author/branding name "Rebeka Harley Seen". I write spicy contemporary romances with dark humor.
I will be self-publishing my first book in January 2024 and you can access my website (and Insta) via https://rebekaharleyseen.com/ to give you a better idea of what sort of books I will be writing. Expect romantic comedies/romantic suspense books that ANY open-minded adult can read. That's right - I have a wide range of beta-readers right now, of all different ages, genders and sexualities and they are all loving my first book. Though I have stated this first book as a romantic comedy, it is *extremely* unique due to its content matter and the nature of the humor. Think Legally Blonde x Borat x Bridget Jones x Seth MacFarlane humor x The Lonely Island inspired music. The characters in my books are very complex and also have dark pasts, and/or will experience some nasty or evil things in my stories.
Rebeka Harley Seen is a pen name to protect my identity so that I can maintain my current job thanks to the controversial and spicy content in my books.
Now to the important and fun part - the design:
- I would like to see designs that are a bit "girly/feminine" and feature the colors pink and black in some manner. Designs with sparkles, lip "kiss" imprints, hearts, anything girly, etc. are also right up my ally.
- I'm also open to having a mask in my logo because I'll be 'hardly seen'.
- Though I have said I would like the logo to have feminine elements, I'm very open to components of darkness and mystery such as smoke, a skull, a dagger, etc.
- It would also be cool to have the Christian and anti-Christ symbols (A Crucifix and The Cross of Saint Peter) integrated into the design, to represent the good, evil and morally grey characters I write about, as well as the chaos and death that are inflicted upon these characters.
I have attached some logos by other romance authors that I like the look of, to give you some idea of what might be considered a normal logo for this genre. However, like I have said, my writing is almost a genre of its own. Similarly, my book cover is very different to the books that would be considered to have the closest content to mine. Basically, I am open to being different and standing out.
