Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung
I want a cover layout (one for e-book, one for paperback) that is professional enough to compete with the likes of the Adam Grant, Simon Sinek, Malcolm Gladwell and Seth Godin's of the world. I have the book title logo, font, and color pallette - but I want some ideas for the cover (front cover only) layout.
I'm attaching the logo (white on transparent background), as well as the "sample" cover I've been using in mockups. I'm not looking for revolutionary designs or new logos, but rather a "cover" (the whole thing) design and arrangement.
Here are the parameters for the cover designs:
• eBook: 1600 x 2560 pixels, 72 ppi, RGB colorspace
• Physical book: 8.5 x 5.5 inches, 300 ppi, CMYK colorspace
For the physical book, if the designers don't extend the artwork to go outside the entire book, no bleeds need to be added.
We'll need the following from the winning designer(s):
1. An editable source file of the cover design, with open layers (AI; PSD); and
2. The fonts used. My brand fonts are Zing Rust Base, and Overpass. Those should be used, however I'm also open to alternative ideas as an additional consideration.
