Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are opening up a Family Entertainment Clubhouse in Canada. The full name is:
Happy's
Sim Play Social

Our target market is older kids (10+) and the casual golfer and beer league sports teams (hockey, soccer, lacrosse, football). That will be the primary group of people that will be coming but we will also welcome families. We will also cater to include corporate clients and golfers who have to play the simulators when the golf season is done.

Inside it will consist of multi-sport simulators, arcade games, food and beverage and maybe laser tag. The multisport simulators will be used as golf simulators probably 75% of the time and the other 25% will be used for simulator sports like hockey, football, soccer, lacrosse, dodgeball, carnival games and shooting/hunting. The arcade will offer a variety of about 20-25 different games

We will host golf leagues and tournaments, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team windups and corporate events. It will be a fun and inviting atmosphere where you can come for an hour to shoot some balls or to play a round of golf and then have some drinks with your friends after

It will be primarily called "Happy's" with reference to the movie Happy Gilmore. Under the primary name it will have the words "Sim Play Social" to describe what the business is. Each part of the name is described as follows:

Happy's: this is the name of a fictional character in a golf movie. Although it can be implied that it is a feeling, that is not what it is intended to mean

Sim: this is to represent the 5 multi-sport and golf simulators that will be our anchor attraction

Play: this represents the aspect of playing arcades and laser tag as well as playing any simulator sport

Social: this means that the establishment is a place for a social gathering. A place to enjoy some drinks (alcohol), food and a good time with your friends or family. A clubhouse that you would gather at after a sport game or round of golf

Our mascot will be a gopher or prairie dog. This would be in reference to the movie "Caddyshack" but also because we are located in the prairies of Canada

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• it must have text AND a logo. It should incorporate at least 3 different sports in the logo with golf and hockey being 2 of the 3.

Schön zu haben

• I would like to see a nice green color to resemble that of a golf course but this is not a requirement

Sollte nicht haben

• although this is a family entertainment center, it is not intended to be a childish place. The logo should be fun but geared towards adults. It is also not a sports lounge or exclusive to sports. It can have some sport attributes to it but when someone looks at it, it shouldn't make them think it's a sports bar. The word "Happy" is also not meant as a feeling and any smiles should not be part of the design
