Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I want to stick with my original shade of orange and you can play around with the shade of gray. I have tried 4 different designers, and I don't love any of them. The one that has the most promise is the first picture attached below with TDG as the main focus in the logo. I wouldn't mind seeing a drywall knife in the logo as long as it's on the medium range of detail, not too simplistic, but not ornate. I have also included more versions of various other logo renditions that other designers have given me. I like bold and masculine text representing the construction industry.
