Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a company based in Charlotte, NC called Advanced Surface Solutions. Our holding company also owns other brands and we would like to use the same logo symbol for all brands. I am uploading what we think is a good symbol. It is a the letter S in a diamond shape. The letter S is for Solutions (our holding company is Osuna Solutions) and the diamond is the strongest natural element in the world. At Osuna Solutions we restore wood and concrete for our customers. We like neon colors so our idea is to use the same symbol (diamond-S shape) with the brand name in different neon colors. We want to keep it simply and we are evolving for a logo that has been with the company for 20+ years. We like what we have created (attached image) but would like some creativity to make it look better. We have asked some people about the S-diamond shape and some people said it looks like Superman and other said it looks like a baseball home base.
