I uploaded several images to show what I am looking for as far as creativity in font style and abstract ideas. As you can see, I am looking for something unique and eye catching, not something generic.

I thought of a concept that you might want to experiment. Since the company's letters are "HSR", maybe you can somehow use the image of the spiking volleyball player I included in the brief as the letter "S" of the design. Maybe you can use it as inspiration to come up with an abstract version of the picture and make it the focal point of the logo. The company deals mostly with volleyball players.
