Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Uncommon Econ is trying to make economics more diverse by creating videos and materials that can be used in introductory undergraduate economics classes. The videos are accessible, short, and engaging, and feature diverse economists talking about cutting edge research that relates directly to topics in intro classes. We would like the logo to use bright colors: for example, blue, turquoise, gold, and orange OR Red, violet, pink, and orange OR other bright colors. But we would also like to be able to use a black and white or grayscale version. The design should communicate inclusion, illumination, ideas, and the future. We would like the logo to include an icon that can be used on its own without the name text, but also have a version with our name "Uncommon Econ" or initials "UE" in it.
Mission: We strive to deliver an enriched learning experience through research-based videos, aligned curriculum, and diverse instructors.
Vision: We envision an economics discipline that values and welcomes diverse scholars and perspectives that contribute to creating solutions for a better world.
Target audience: College economics instructors and students
