Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am looking for Logo design for a new business startup in British Columbia. I will be a small business offering electrical contracting services in the Fraser Valley area called "KLIEWER ELECTRIC CO."(company). I want a logo to use on vehicle branding, business cards, merch, and letterheads. I am looking for something trendy and modern as far as appearances. I am looking for a design NOT following the tradition tacky cliche Construction/Trades billboard. More of a trendy modern brand, image you may find in a hip coffeeshop, retail store, etc I want the logo to look be straight to the point, strong, to show quality and tradition yet be current enough to be relavent with all demographics on customers for both Residential and commerical Electrical installations and service. I would like a logo using the letter "K" in a somewhat square size (equal in width and height) and underneath the name "KLIEWER ELECTRIC CO" feel free to vary use of Upper and lower case letters and maybe even use larger "KLIEWER" and underneath it smaller " ELECTRIC CO". I am mostly assuming the logo will be used in a solid color most likely flat black graphics on a while or silver background.. I am as mostly looking for black/white/grey however if you wish to try a small pop of color go ahead and surprise me! I have attached a hand sketch of my ideas. I am clearly no Logo designer so thats why I need help! Feel free to run with you own idea.
