Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a company called Quay Asia. Quay Asia is a UK headquartered consulting firm with a subsidiary in Bangladesh. Quay Asia implements consulting projects to support the economic development of Bangladesh through better public service management, international trade and foreign direct investment. Quay Asia typically works with larger companies to help understand markets and business opportunities in Bangladesh. We chose "Quay" to represent a safe harbour, haven, berth or dock implying that our company provides a safe place to land when exploring a new country like Bangladesh or other similar countries in Asia.

The company was created in 2016 and we have been using some basic styles or design features including preferred fonts (Baskerville and Calibri Light,) and colour palette (see attached). The abstract grey geometrical feature on the left of the business card alludes to a ship berth, dock or place where a boat can tie up. We would like to develop this abstract feature and include it in a new logo.

We want to retain a red element in the logo as this is seen as a lucky colour in East Asia and a colour associated with marriage in South Asia. In this case "marriage" could allude to a business partnership.

We need both a logo with the words Quay Asia and also one with just QA. However, because QA is a common abbreviation (eg Question and Answer, Quality Assurance), we would also consider a logo that emphasises the Q over the A.

In addition to a colour logo, we also need an all white and an all black version.

The attached files are for a designer's reference - we are looking for new ideas that perhaps have some continuity with existing design features.
