Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a commercial construction company based in North-Central West Virginia that provides Engineering, Architectural Services, Design-Build, Project Management, Consulting (budgets/schedules), and Development. Our main goal is to grow our area so it becomes a place that people want to live, work, and play. We want this logo to be timeless, elegant, and memorable. Not particularly interested in logos with building silhouettes or tools in them because that seems to be what everyone has in our area, but we're open to it if the design is meaningful and somewhat abstract. We want this logo to attract higher-end clients and leave an impression on them showing that we care about our business and providing quality construction to the folks in our area.
Personal info about me (the owner): I come from a polynesian background, so a logo that incorporates Hawaiian/Pacific Islander themes would definitely separate us from all the other contractors in the area, even if it was something small or vague. On top of being a General Contractor, I am also an Engineer, so I like things that are calculated, geometric, good flow, etc.
