Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for our athletic club as we are rebranding. The new name of the club is "Obsidian Athletic Club". We are a premium athletic club, offering a range of services and amenities to our members. We would like a logo that is sleek and classic, and that looks like it belongs to brand that is offering a high-end service.

Our idea for the concept of the logo is that it would feature a stylized "O" that would serve as the main, recognizable part of logo, and that "Obsidian" would appear larger than "Athletic Club". I have always pictured the "O" as looking more like a pointy oval, or stylized in a way similar to that, but I am open to other styles as well. Texture could be added to the lettering to make it look as if it is made of obsidian, but they could also just be black.

I've attached png to show an example of the layout of the logo as we have envisioned it. This is just to show the layout, please ignore the font. This is just to show what we had been thinking, but we are always open to other ideas.
