Car Wrap-Design Kurzbeschreibung

This project is all about advancing the visual aesthetic of a vehicle using three main methods;
1. Vehicle decals (stickers, can have wording, letters and numbers included)
2. Body line restyling (again stickers that blend with the form, refer to BMW image)
3. Clever use of colour/s

The outcome should be a bespoke design that greatly improves the style of the vehicle. Capturing the design language to create a package that matches will be the goal!
Think about how F1 liveries blend with their brand and vehicle form, appearing almost OEM.
It's important to remember that the expectations of this project will surpass a simple, hasty design. You will need to be methodical and plan out your design package. Tip, viewing the vehicle in person will give you more insight, perspective and understanding.

The final chosen design will be awarded to that of which has the most attention to detail and who has done the ground work to create a stunning result.
Expectations for project:
- Display a solid understanding of brand identity.
- Understanding vehicle design language.
- Ability to connect decals and body line restyling to the original vehicle aesthetic.
- Feel for colour and colour schemes that match and compliment perfectly. (Up to 3 colours maximum)

What's the Range (Intensity/scale of the package)
Every vehicle decal and livery speaks to eye.
For example: Drift cars can be very busy and loud, whereas a Porsche 911 is tastefully subtle.
Subtle to mid-range is where you want the package to find itself. Being more implicit than explicit, if you know what I mean?
You can design for both sides of the vehicle, the rear and the front.

Possible ongoing work for the designer that understands the brief and can deliver a tasteful well crafted final product. The vehicle you will be designing for will be a 2023 Ford Ranger in basic white.
I have included images that display, body line restyling. Think of it as adding to the existing personality of the vehicle.
Please read this Brief at least twice and refer to provided images.

• A design the flows well, is well proportioned, accentuates the vehicles body lines and form.

• Should not be too basic or too busy, somewhere in the middle as suggested will be the winning ticket.
