Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The current Ventura Breeze logo needs a refresh - we would like a less cluttered, streamlined design but do not want a radical departure from the current, established brand. The new logo should still resemble the original in terms of colors and some of the elements used, but with a cleaner, more contemporary look and feel. We would also like to see an option for a less "stacked" design format - it is very deep and tends to take up too much space in the masthead. We are changing the slogan/tagline to reflect the fact that this is not just a print newspaper but also an online destination for local news and more. We also want additional versions of the new logo formatted for use on social media accounts and as a favicon. I have uploaded a file of the current logo, as well as a jpeg of the Ventura Breeze newspaper front page for context.
