Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am looking to have a logo designed for my building renovation company. The company focuses on creating photo-realistic renderings (visualization), renovations and then building whatever designs we currently walked through with the client. We do a lot of custom accent walls and custom work across the board. We are currently doing a lot of residential work but would eventually like to branch into commercial work.

I took 2 attempts at creating my own logo, and neither are "the one" which is why I am submitting this request. I have attached both of the logos I created for your reference. I noted them up with additional comments as to the things I like, and the things I don't like... along with a few examples of other company logos that I do like to hopefully help with this assignment. I want something that is creative, but simple... and something that reads strong, bold, honest, reliable and confident.

The company colors are black, gray (shade TBD) and white with accents of bright green. The official company name is "BLK Dog Design, LLC" - Feel free to play with which parts of the logo is in caps and which are not. I would like an element in the logo that resembles my dog, Mako. I do not want a photo-realistic image of him... just something abstract. I have included some photos of him, along with the logo markup that I mentioned. The logo markup goes more in depth with what I like and dislike- but, if you have any questions please let me know.
