Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo that can be used everywhere, including website, social media, signage, and other marketing. The company is called Pacific Imports and we specialize in importing goods directly from South Korea for sale in Costa Rica. Our flagship product is the Kia Bongo, a small utility truck that is perfectly suited for Costa Rica's rugged terrain. Our brand is about quality and ease of purchase. I am open to any colors although I want to entire theme to be white and only one other color. I'd like to have some element related to importing incorporated into the logo, as what sets us apart from the competition (other automobile sellers and retail outfits, in general) is our ability to locate high-quality and inexpensive products abroad. I'm open to ideas but I've thought about silhouettes of a cargo ship, a globe, a airplane, or a utility truck (again, open to ideas but I've thought about somehow incorporating a Bongo into the logo--perhaps on the back of a cargo ship). I think it would be best to have the name written underneath the logo so that I can display the logo with or without the name, depending where I need it. I'd like the logo to be 2D and fairly easily replicable. I'd also like for the style to feel friendly and accessible but not overly whimsical. We will be selling to all different demographics, including families, businesses, locals, and expatriates so I'd like it to appeal to a wide range of customers. I've thought about a variety of styles or themes, from the Art Deco (think downtown LA, the old PanAm logo, or "Catch me if you Can") motif to the clean and more abstract style of a smart phone app logo. I'm open to ideas but tend toward clever, stylish, and simple.

Please feel free to take some creative liberties, as my attempts (in attached photos) are super rudimentary and is stylistically pretty bland. I'd like something memorable and cool and I tend toward understated rather than busy or in-your-face.


The most important thing is that the logo has some originality and character. I really don't want to use anything that is simply using stock images from getty images or some stock logo design website.
