1. Campaign Overview
The "Go Back to Normal" campaign is an awareness initiative focused on hypoparathyroidism (HypoPT). It aims to connect with patients who feel abandoned and without options, offering them hope, information, and a sense of empowerment. The campaign will use an emotional tone and impactful visuals to highlight the possibility of returning to a normal life despite the challenges of HypoPT.
2. Target Audience
Primary: Patients living with hypoparathyroidism who feel isolated, misunderstood, and without alternatives. Patients are mainly female and in their 40s-60s, so images which can relate to this target group are preferred
Secondary: Caregivers, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups who support HypoPT patients.
3. Key Message
CAN WE TALK ABOUT NORMALITY?
Hypoparathyroidism: knowing and managing it to live a new everyday lifeHypoparathyroidism can feel overwhelming, but you are not alone.
A path to a better quality of life exists.
Returning to normal is possible with the right awareness and support.
TASK: create images to be featured in the campaign content. The images will be used for social media content, for the website of the campaign and for printing out posters. We want strong images which can attract attention, make the patient stop and take a second look. Images which can make sence can be: 1) the butterfly which symbolizes the tyroid, ideally with a highlight of the paratyroid glands as 4 dots on teh butterfly. 2. something which makes of think of going back to normality for a sick person - doing simple tasks at home, feeling of freedom.
