Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The International Photodynamic Association (IPA) seeks to update its overall image/branding with a new logo. The IPA is an international organization of scientists and clinicians from all over the world who are developing and clinically translating photodynamic therapy (PDT) for treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. PDT is an emerging light-based treatment modality - it uses tumor-localizing drugs that are activated by light from a laser or LED source for high-precision treatment of target lesions with minimal side effects and sparing normal tissues. The design should somehow emphasize light while communicating excitement for a highly innovative medical advance. Ultimately we want to generate excitement and interest and make the organization look up-to-date and appealing to new members.
