Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for an up and coming winery and craft beverage company, based in southern Arizona, called ‘Vehement Craft Beverage Company’.

There are two complementary, yet distinct, aspects to the business — which we affectionately refer to as ‘business in the front; party in the back’… There is the traditional wine-making side (i.e., a bottle of Cabernet or Chardonnay) — and then there is the less common, more experimental side which includes: meads, ciders, and other types of wine-based beverages .

We liken our ethos as embodying the 'new wave of the wild, wild American West': a bold balance between polished sophistication and playful rebellion — with a strong reverence and respect for the land, in building relationships with local/small businesses, and dedication to excellence in the craft.

Initial logo concept/direction:
- Style: an illustrative style, featuring a dual-faced emblem, with the central image in a split or mirrored design — one side sleek, refined; the opposite side wild, expressive.
- Design elements/central icon to possibly involve any one of the following: a queen bee, a pair of hands…(please see attached example files)
- Typography: “Vehement” in bold, angular serif or modern gothic script — a feeling of intensity; “Craft Beverage Company” in smaller, clean sans-serif font — for contrast.
- Color scheme: golds, greens, purples, deep reds
- Additional motifs: wine grapes/grape cluster, an apple(s), a mead drinking horn, a wine glass, honeycomb…

Things to consider:
- I understand that AI is a useful tool, but as a visual artist myself, I can tell when an image has been AI-generated... I will give preference to designers who put in the work themselves. That being said, I am not a skilled graphic designer by any stretch of the imagination, so a few months back I sheepishly used ChatGPT to help me visualize a starting place for our logo. Files are attached .
- The logo needs to look clean and clear, whether as a fairly small image on a wine bottle, or as emblazoned large on the front of a t-shirt.
- We will want to hire the winning artist to create our product labels (for both the traditional wine line of products, as well as the experimental line of meads, ciders, piquettes, etc) in two different themes, yet recognizably from the same company…if that makes any sense? :-)
