Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The Annandale Mansion is a historic building near Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. It has been transformed into apartment units. And we recently bought the building and are going to renovate the units while keeping the historic charm and character. We want a logo that shows that it has been refreshed, but hasn't lost itself.

We want it to match the Ornate, victorian vibe of the building, without looking too "old lady" for lack of better terms.

Color scheme:
Maroon pop in logo - muted yet stand out
Background- light pewter
Logo text- maroon
Curved, calligraphy type words
And we would like to incorporate a Crest.


The sign company is going to do an 8' light post with a scroll top bracket for sign approximately 3'x4'. As for the sign itself, we are using HDU (high density urethane) which is a very durable alternative to a wooden sign. It can have dimensional lettering and accents, like the trim, or it can be carved as well.
