Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'd like a logo design for barware, party gifts and cocktail napkins for my husband's 50th birthday. We are having a huge party with a band, bbq, and friends from every decade of his life, Fraternity brothers, teammates, colleagues, family friends. I am looking for a design that represents the occasion but isn't so specific that guests won't use the gifts after the event. I don't want something typical, with the date and a familiar adage about the best years are ahead or what vintage he is. The logo should be such that folks who attended the party will recognize someone else who is carrying a water bottle with the design but that the bottle doesn't overtly say my husband's name. So it might using the numbers 50 in an interesting way, or incorporating the birthyear- 75 - or incorporating things my husband loves, such as racquet sports, modelo beer, rock music, and brazil. Or it could be as simple as the perfect quote for him, a history professor with a great sense of slightly dark humor who lives every day to his fullest.
