Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am launching a webapp that will list all the schools (from kindergarten through highschool) in France, that parents will be able to search with selective filters (private/public / sports / cafeteria etc), and will be able to comment/rate and contribute. Zécole is a word that blends "Les" and "Ecoles" which means "The Schools". The logo could play with the letter Z, shaping the letter with tools symbolizing the school like a ruler or a compass. We could also play with the compass to shape the roof of a school, or to llustrate the path towards the school .. Any idea is welcome. I would like a colorful logo yet soft, playing with pastels (yellow, purple, green, blue, or even orange but not too bright), and conveying positivity, friendliness and excellence. I will attach some examples I tried to make designs with IA, I am not convinced by but can inspire you.
