Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hi!

I am looking for a logo for myself. I am a full time practitioner of Chinese Medicine and specialise in "Classical" Acupuncture and Bodywork, which basically means it is old to ancient in origins. Some of what I practice dates back 2400 to the original text descriptions (Huang Di Neijing) of how Acupuncture used to be applied, but is not common place anymore. A lot of what I do is at least 100 years old.

I am amongst a few teachers in the UK who teach some of these old style methods and applications. We want to share what we know to as many other qualified Acupuncturists as we can around the world.

This logo is for my new venture, which is to offer in person seminars and lectures in what I know, in the hope that I can pass on what I know as it was passed on to me by my teachers.

I would like a simple logo, preferably one colour (black), but I would be open to suggestions. I would like to pay homage to the ancient roots in China and that fact that this medicine is being passed on, person to person by a continual lineage over time.

The photos provided are just an example of ancient Chinese images related to philosophy and personal seals/chops/stamps. I'm very much open to simple modern logos, the photos are just for a feel of the ancient.

- The Bamboo represent Time and Space, simplicity, flexibility, usefulness and strength

- The Bagua shows ancient mystical and philosophical origins, which knowledge of the workings of universal principles

- The Seals/Chops/Stamps are a show of personal signature and authenticity

Please feel to draw inspiration from any of these images, or be free to design something completely different which you feel may be a good fit.
