Concept Directions
We currently have two creative directions in mind. Both are meant as inspiration — we are open to your interpretation and alternative ideas within these vibes.

CONCEPT 1: The Magician of Malaga
• A friendly, approachable magician (not dark or scary, rather modern and welcoming).
• The magician is sitting on a rooftop in Malaga at night, overlooking the city.
• He is playing with three Elixir vial, symbolizing the three drops from the ElixirConf EU logo (the drops reimagined as small flasks).
• The illustration style should be lighter and more illustrative, preferably:
-more contour-based / graphic
-less like a heavy, painterly artwork
• If the design leans towards a fully colored illustration, we would strongly prefer a dark violet background.
• We are attaching a ChatGPT-generated sketch purely to communicate the vibe and mood we are aiming for — it is not a final reference, and we are very open to different stylistic interpretations or even simpler approaches!


CONCEPT 2: Drops as a Background / Stained-Glass Direction
• This concept keeps the three Elixir drops as a background element.
• For reference, we are attaching:
-the drop from the 2024 design (for continuity only — we want a completely new idea)
-a cubism-inspired graphic (ChatGPT-generated 2026 idea) - (ChatGPT-generated 2026 idea)
• What we like in the cubism-inspired graphic idea with drops as backgroud:
-the colour usage
-simple geometric forms
-a lighter, more graphic feel
• What we would like to improve:
-the three drops should be more clearly visible from the back (currently they feel misplaced or hidden)
-the composition could be simpler and less busy
• References: the flower, Picasso, buildings, etc.
• The overall form could also be slightly shorter / more compact.


Logo & Typography
Please include ElixirConf EU branding in the design.
This can be done in one of two ways:
• using the official ElixirConf EU logo, or
• using a typographic version that fits the style of the illustration, for example:
“ElixirConf EU – Malaga 2026”
