T-Shirt-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Project Overview
We are looking for a custom vintage-inspired graphic design for our Shoals Club Recreation team t-shirt. The design should capture the relaxed, coastal lifestyle of Bald Head Island and feel timeless, nostalgic, and wearable — similar to classic coastal destination apparel.

Our inspiration examples (see attached) feature vintage destination graphics with hand-drawn illustrations, slightly distressed typography, and simple scenic elements.

Design Style
• Vintage / retro coastal aesthetic
• Hand-illustrated feel (not overly modern or corporate)
• Simple, clean, elevated composition that will print well on apparel
• Classic destination tee vibe (similar to Cape Cod / Santa Barbara style graphics in inspo)

Graphic Elements to Include
We would love the design to incorporate a combination of iconic island elements such as:
• Shoals Club building silhouette
• Old Baldy lighthouse
• Golf cart
• Seagull(s)
• Beach chairs or umbrellas
• Ocean / dunes / coastal landscape
-Bald Head Island Ferry Boat (optional)
The elements can be arranged as a scene, badge, crest, or collage — open to creative interpretation.

Logo
The Shoals Club logo is attached for reference but does NOT have to be included. A design that feels more illustrative than logo-driven is preferred.

Colors
Open to designer creativity, but will be printed on a WHITE T-Shirt:
• Coastal blues
• Soft sandy neutrals
• Seafoam / muted teal
• Vintage washed tones
Design should also work in 1–3 color versions for printing.

Shirt Placement
Primary design will likely be on the back of the shirt with a small chest hit option, but the design should work as a standalone graphic.

Overall Feel
We want something members and staff would want to wear casually — not overly busy, not too modern — more like a classic coastal souvenir tee with elevated club style.

Think: timeless, coastal, relaxed, slightly preppy, vintage vacation destination.
