About the Organization
BioMaine is the leading life sciences trade association in Maine. We represent and support companies, research institutions, and organizations working in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and related life science fields.
Our organization has been known as BioME (Bioscience Association of Maine), but we are transitioning to a simpler and more modern brand name: BioMaine.

Project Goal
We are looking for a modernized logo that reflects the new name “BioMaine.” The design should feel fresh, professional, and innovative, while maintaining some visual continuity with our existing BioME brand.

Key Requirements
- The logo text should read: BioMaine
- “Bioscience Association of Maine" tagline is optional
- The design should feel modern, clean, and professional
- Possibly include Maine state outline
- It should represent innovation, science, and Maine’s growing life sciences ecosystem
- We would like the logo to feel connected to the current BioME brand, but not identical

Color Palette
We have added to our brands color palette since after our current logo was created. Please include the current orange color, but also 1 or more of the blue colors. We are open to creativity. Please refer to our website and color hex codes. Not all colors need to be used, but orange needs to be included somewhere. https://biomaine.org/
