We’re looking to develop a brand refresh and new color scheme for a 40+ year-old automotive repair business.

The business name will be updated to:
Motor Tech Auto Repair

We are not interested in basic or generic designs (e.g., stock clipart-style logos). We’re looking for something that feels custom, thoughtful, and well-crafted.

The logo should include the following core components:
1. Design Element / Icon
-Automotive-related (wrench, car, tools, or similar)
-Should feel clean and intentional—not overly complex or generic
2. Business Name
-Motor Tech Auto Repair
-Clear, balanced, and easy to read
3. Founding Year
-1983
-Can be styled as:
--“Since 1983”
--“Est. 1983”
--“Founded 1983”
-Use whichever format works best with your design

Logo System / Variations
-We expect the final brand to include multiple usable versions:
-Full version: icon + name + founding year
-Simplified versions, such as:
--Icon only
--Logo without the founding year
--Alternate layouts (horizontal, stacked, etc.)

Color Scheme
We’re also looking for updated color palette ideas that:
-Feel appropriate for a professional automotive shop
