Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Middleware has always been about one thing: connecting what matters.
For more than three decades, we've helped organisations connect people, systems, data and ideas. As technology has evolved, so has our role—from traditional integration to enabling secure, open and interoperable digital ecosystems across banking, healthcare, government and beyond. While the world continues to change, our purpose remains constant: creating meaningful connections that help organisations move forward.
Our name, Middleware, and our tagline, Connecting What Matters, continue to capture who we are. They represent the trust we've built, the expertise we've earned, and the role we play in bringing together technologies, organisations and communities.
What we're evolving is the visual expression of that story.
We're looking for a symbol that reflects the essence of Middleware—connection, movement, trust, interoperability and progress. Whether inspired by the initials MW or a completely new visual concept, the icon should feel distinctive, timeless and unmistakably connected to our purpose. We're intentionally moving away from the previous stacked, rounded "MW bridge" concept and are seeking fresh thinking that better represents where the brand is today and where it's heading.
The chosen identity must work consistently across every touchpoint. From proposals and customer presentations to conference stages, sponsorships, digital products, social media and signage, it should be recognisable, flexible and memorable. Rather than solving each application individually, we want a cohesive system that provides confidence and consistency wherever the Middleware brand appears.
This phase of the project is about exploring a range of visual directions, testing them in real-world scenarios, and selecting a brand identity that will represent Middleware for years to come—one that reinforces our purpose of Connecting What Matters every time people see it.
The attached file shows the selected font that will be used - similar to Montserrat.
