Hi!
The ambition behind ZiaKey is impressive, and aiming for the level of iconic brands like Apple or Nike is a great goal. However, to actually build a timeless brand, we need to bridge the gap between this high-level vision and tangible design criteria.
Right now, the brief functions more as an emotional benchmark rather than a functional design roadmap.
Apple, Nike, or TikTok became "great" not just because of their minimalist shapes, but because of decades of marketing, brand strategy, and consistency.
A simple "Z" can be interpreted in a thousand different ways—if we make it dynamic, it might look like Nike; if we make it too tech-focused, it might lose the "social/community" aspect.
To avoid running in circles and going through 100+ blind variations of the letter Z, we need to anchor the concept.
Your current beta website is a clean, blank slate (basic layout, blue accents, black fonts), which doesn't yet give us a specific visual DNA or core aesthetic to build upon.
To move forward effectively, I highly recommend expanding the brief with the following:
Mood board / References. Please share examples of logos, styles, or even UI elements that you visually resonate with, as well as an "anti-musdbord" (what we should absolutely avoid).
Brand DNA: What is the primary emotion ZiaKey should evoke? (e.g., trust and security, or fast-paced creativity and connectivity?)
Target Audience & Visual Identity: Any existing thoughts on the preferred color palette, typography vibe, or brand voice.
Let’s define these boundaries first.
It will help us find the exact right direction for ZiaKey much faster, rather than guessing what "iconic" means in a vacuum.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
