BROCHURE DESIGN BRIEF
Project Overview

I own a cooking school and recently published my cookbook. I’m looking for a talented graphic designer to create a modern, visually stunning accordion-fold brochure that reflects the quality of my brand and motivates people to take action.

Primary Goals

The brochure should:

Sell my cookbook, Forking Delicious
Generate registrations for cooking classes
Drive visitors to my website
Encourage calls and emails for more information

Every design decision should support these goals.

Include a dedicated section promoting my recently published cookbook:

Forking Delicious

More than a recipe book, it teaches cooking skills, techniques, meal prep, hosting tips, and kitchen confidence.

The brochure should create excitement and encourage readers to purchase the cookbook.

Design Direction

The attached brochure is NOT the direction I want. It feels dated, cluttered, and lacks visual impact.

I’m looking for a design that is:

Modern
Clean and upscale
Warm and inviting
Editorial / magazine-inspired
Easy to read
Food-focused with beautiful imagery
Visually sophisticated
Strong calls to action

Think Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel, or a premium food magazine—not a traditional flyer.

The brochure should feel less like an advertisement and more like a beautifully designed culinary lifestyle piece—something that inspires people to cook, learn, and connect through food.
