Hi.
No offense — this is just a normal professional discussion, not an argument.

Don't you think the ideas “I want to have a little bit of each in the logo” and “I want it to be simple, sleek, very classic, and nice” are somewhat contradictory?

With all due respect, how do you imagine combining excavation, welding, grain storage, and equipment repair into one classic and concise logo?

Do you need a logo, or an advertising brochure?

To make it clear what I mean, let me give you an example.
Imagine trying to show everything that Bechtel does in its logo. They have a very strong, classic identity, but their logo doesn't list their services.

Or think about a car manufacturer. What car do you drive? Does its logo contain all the models the manufacturer produces? Does the Chevrolet logo need to show spare parts, wheels, body panels, and everything else the company sells or services?

The logo represents the company, not its entire list of services.

So perhaps the first thing to define is the visual character of your future logo.
Tell the designers how you imagine it. If you can't formulate that yet, that's absolutely fine. Show us a few logo examples you like, or simply name some companies whose identities you admire.

Even “I want it to be as cool as theirs” is useful information.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Your future logo may be the face of your company for many years, so choosing the right direction is much more important than it might seem.

And, well... choosing a logo is almost like choosing a future wife. If your clients are constantly staring at your wife, that's probably cause for concern. With a logo, the situation is somewhat less ambiguous.
I hope I haven't offended anyone.
Again, this is simply a professional discussion of the problem.

And one more question: what does “6011” mean? Are these welding electrodes?

I'd genuinely like to know.

Thank you.
