Logo Design Brief — Our Little

Our Little is a small, personal, home based cattery breeding Russian Blue cats. I am looking for a logo that feels modern, minimalist, refined and timeless, with a subtle touch of warmth and playfulness - simple enough to be timeless, but clever enough to have personality

The feeling

I am drawn primarily to a clean, contemporary and quietly luxurious aesthetic, but I also like the softness of round shapes and slightly cartoon-like simplicity.

The ideal balance would be:

Minimal · Elegant · Modern · Soft · Clever · Personal · Slightly playful

I particularly love one-line / single-line concepts and simple visual ideas with a clever twist.

The logo

A circular logo or emblem is especially appealing, but I am open to other ideas if the concept feels right.

I would like the Russian Blue to be referenced in a subtle and sophisticated way, rather than through an obvious cat illustration. Think suggestion rather than literal representation.

Please avoid typical cat/breeder clichés such as paw prints, generic cat silhouettes, crowns, hearts, overly detailed cat faces, etc.

I would love something that feels simple at first glance, but has a little unexpected detail that makes you look twice.

Colour

The logo must work perfectly in black and white.

I am inspired by the natural light grey and green associated with Russian Blues, particularly muted or sophisticated shades of green.

I am also open to soft or dusty pink or/and mustard as an accent colour.

Overall, I prefer a restrained, sophisticated palette rather than many colours.

Typography

Clean, refined typography — either a modern serif, elegant sans-serif, or a thoughtful combination.

The name Our Little should feel like a distinctive lifestyle brand rather than a traditional cattery logo.

Avoid

* Too cute or childish
* Generic or overly literal cat imagery
* Traditional “cattery/kennel” aesthetics
* Fussy or ornamental details
* Flashy luxury
* Anything that relies on colour to work

In short

A timeless, minimalist and quietly luxurious identity for Our Little that captures the elegance and character of the Russian Blue through a simple, clever and slightly playful visual idea — without falling into the usual clichés of cat or breeder logos.

Fun fact: Russian Blue cat is Armanis symbol and muse for the fall collection 2026. 😊
